
Meet The Team
Dr. Sue Hwang
Dr. Sue grew up in the Sunshine State, Florida. She graduated from University of Florida with a
Microbiology & Cell Sciences major as the college’s Valedictorian and completed her dental education
from University of Pennsylvania with a double degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Master in
Bioethics (MBE). With her strong interests in education and caring for children, she then came to New York
where she completed her certificate in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University. Dr. Sue has further
shared her passion in pediatric dentistry by treating children abroad in multiple dental mission trips to
Guatemala since 2010. She now resides in New York City with her daughter and her husband who works as an
interventional radiologist in New Jersey.
She is a respected diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a board certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Sue focuses on preventive care to help each child have a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. She hopes to do her very best in guiding her patients’ dental growth and development within a caring, nurturing environment.
Dr. Kei Chan
Dr. Kei is a pediatric dentist who is passionate about treating children and providing them with a
positive dental experience. He enjoys working with children to provide them with a healthy smile, while
forming lifelong relationships based on mutual trust. Dr. Kei obtained his Bachelors of Art degree in
Biochemistry at Hunter College in the City University of New York. He was awarded Summa Cum Laude and
numerous awards. He was the Salutatorian of his graduating class. He received his Doctor of Dental
Surgery degree from Columbia University in the city of New York and completed his General Practice
Residency in Lincoln Medical Center and his Pediatric Dental Residency in Saint Barnabas Hospital in the
Bronx. He has been active in providing service to the community and around the world. He has volunteered
in various local public schools, promoting and advocating the importance of oral health. He has also
volunteered for many global humanitarian trips in Asia, Africa, South America, Central America for the
past 10 years, It is a passion that developed during his senior year in Dental school. He has been a
volunteer and a dental leader that led many teams on outreach programs in Haiti, South Africa, Cape
Verde, Cambodia, Philippines, Guatemala and more. His goal has always been to provide a positive
influence to children of all ages. He wishes to empower children and parents to take control over their
health and for them to take pride in their smiles and oral health. In his spare time, Dr. Kei loves to
read, play tennis and spend time with his two young children.

Dr. John Hansford
Dr. John Hansford is a highly skilled pediatric dentist and dentist anesthesiologist.
Dr. Hansford's goal is to provide the safest and most excellent dental care to patients of all walks of life. As part of his advocacy for patient safety, he lectures and consults internationally, writes and publishes articles on systemic disease, anesthesia, and dentistry, and provides training and certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
In his spare time, he likes visiting his family, and he enjoys going to plays, taking improv classes, singing karaoke, and watching Adventure Time.

Ms. Cindy Lin RDH
Cindy Lin is originally from North Carolina and graduated from New York University for her career in dental hygiene. She continued to pursue in dental hygiene for her Bachelors degree graduating from Farmingdale State University Cum laude . She is focused on public health and Oral hygiene literacy for patients. She is very passionate about working children. She has prior experience working with children before her dental hygiene career in educational settings. Cindy has and still participates in many international outreaches in the Caribbean for underserved populations especially at primary schools. She also works for New York City Hospital’s. She is focused on making sure her patients are comfortable at the dentist and also educating them to promote better oral health. In her spare time she likes to workout, travel, and read.
